Obverse blade features a rare variation of an etch pattern which appears in the 1941 Höller sales catalog as Nr. ES-102, which features an oak leaf motif with standard remembrance inscription flanked by a closed wing Wehrmacht eagle on the end nearest the tip, while on the opposite end of the etch, the normally encountered Wehrmacht eagle has been replaced by a raised 88mm flak gun motif.

Bayonet is complete with original brown leather bayonet frog which shows light surface wear to leather, with one loose rivet. Attached to the bayonet frog is the original Luftwaffe NCO bayonet knot with gray leather strap and silver/green acorn crown. Rare bayonet in superb condition!
