M-89 Cavalry Sword w/Etched Blade. Alcoso (small scales) TM. Nickel-plated hilt fittings show light surface wear and minor speckling to pommel cap and non-folding handguard with Prussian eagle. Dark brown Bakelite grip shows light surface wear but no chips or cracks. Plated blade grades excellent++ and has its leather blade buffer pad intact. Double-engraved blade has floral pattern nicely etched with obverse blued panel having "Kurmark Drag. Regt. Nr 14" and a "horsehead" on another blued panel. Reverse blued script panel has the service time inscription. Nickel-plated steel scabbard shows some wear and speckling to plating with two dents/depressions on obverse. Exc+ (15604) $650.
