M-89 Prussian Cavalry Sword w/o Scabbard. No maker. Nickel- plated fittings show some surface wear to plating and some lifting to pommel, knuckle bow and folding handguard. Black Bakelite grip shows surface wear but no cracks or chips. Plated blade edge has several nicks. Blued panel on obverse blade features raised inscription "Husaren Regt. V. Zieten (Brdbg.) No. 3". Reverse blade features panel with cavalry charge. Blade grades VG+, shows wear and graying with bluing gone from the reverse panel. Scabbard is missing. VG+ (15921) $495.
