      Imperial KD-89 Double-Etched Cavalry Degen. No TM. Plated nickel hilt fittings show surface wear and age to pommel, knuckle- bow, and folding handguard with Prussian eagle. Black celluloid grip shows surface wear but no cracks or chips. Plated double- etched blade features on the obverse a floral pattern, military motif, horse head, and center panel with blued background and raised inscription, "Ulan. Regt. Grossh. Friedrich von Baden (Rhein) No. 7". Reverse features a floral pattern, military motif, and raised "service time" inscription. Blade grades excellent with surface wear, speckling, and some sharpening to lower blade beyond the etched pattern. White leather blade buffer pad is present. Anodized steel scabbard is straight and shows wear/age to the anodization with some minor surface depressions on both obverse and reverse. Vet purchase from Texas. Exc. (16784) $695.
