Personalized M-89 Prussian Infantry Officer Sword. Weyersberg & Co., Solingen

Deluxe gilted brass hilt fittings feature heavy chiseling to pommel, knuckle-bow
and folding handguard with much gilting remaining in recesses. Pommel cap is professionally
engraved with the monogram, "GZ". Black, Bakelite grip shows light surface wear
with one tiny chip on reverse adjacent to pommel. Royal "WRII" monogram and guard
star are attached to obverse grip. Triple wire wrap is present. Plated blade grades
excellent+ with light surface wear and minor speckling primarily on ricasso. Blade
has been sharpened with only minor damage to the double etched pattern, which
features a reverse presentation panel with the name, "G. Zirkert". Brown leather
blade buffer pad is present. Straight scabbard retains approximately 60% of its
original black enamel showing much wear, crazing and a few very minor depressions.
