Personalized M-89 Infantry Degen w/Damascus Blade

Gilted brass hilt shows light surface wear to plain
pommel, knuckle bow and non-folding handguard with
Imperial eagle. Fittings show surface wear with
traces of gilting remaining throughout with much
gilting remaining on handguard. Black/dark brown
Bakelite grip is perfect with no cracks or chips
and with tight twisted silver wire wrap present.
Imperial “WRII” cypher is pinned to obverse grip.
Reverse crossguard is jeweler engraved with original
owner’s name, “C. Boedecker”. Damascus “maiden hair”
pattern blade, measuring 34” in length, shows light
surface wear/age with one gray speck near obverse
tip. Both obverse and reverse ricassos are gilted
and feature 4-1/4” long gilted floral and military
motif panels. The obverse blade is marked “Eisenhauer”
with the reverse marked “Damast Stahl”. Leather
blade buffer pad is present. Dent-free nickel-plated
scabbard shows only light surface wear with no lifting
and is complete with both suspension bands and rings.
Sword is complete with original bullion portepee
which shows wear and some minor fraying to strap.
Attached to the grip is the original fingerloop
which is torn, but complete. Nice personalized sword
